Crayon Sinchan : Is it appropriate to be a spectacle for children? (Written by: Vivin Mardiana Saputri) 

Sinchan is a Japanese film taken from the Japanese manga series. Crayon Shin-chan first appeared in 1990 in a Japanese weekly magazine entitled Weekly Manga Action, published by Futabasha. An anime adaptation version of this series began airing on TV Asahi in 1992 and still continues on several television stations around the world. The anime has been translated into 30 languages ​​and has been aired in 45 countries, consisting of 970 episodes of 26 long-duration films.

Sinchan is a film that tells the adventures of a 5-year-old kindergarten boy named Shinnosuke Nohara (Sinchan) with friends of his age namely (Toru, Nene, Masao, and Bo). In this story, the Sinchan family consists of Misae Nohara as Sinchan's mother, Hiroshi Nohara as Sinchan's father, Himawari Nohara as Sinchan's younger sister, and Shiro as Sinchan's pet dog. In the story, kindergarten children here love to imitate the style or behavior and words of adults.

In my opinion and several articles that I read, there are many scenes told in this film, many of which are not worthy of being watched by children. Because in the Sinchan movie here there are many vulgar and indecent scenes, where things like that are not suitable to be a spectacle worth watching for children.

There are many scenes that are not worth watching for children in this film, namely as follows:

1.     1. The scene where Sinchan slipped his pants, and showed his buttocks. in my opinion this is inappropriate for children, because as we know that the nature of children tends to imitate what they see, especially what they see on television shows.

1.      2. The scene where the Sinchan figure, who is a five-year-old kindergarten boy, knows the beautiful girl and blushes because of it.

 

1.      3. The scene where Sinchan and his friends tease beautiful and sexy girls. Where in the story they were five years old and still in kindergarten.

1.      4. The scene where Sinchan was carrying his father's adult magazine and showed it to his school friends.

     So the conclusion is Sinchan film is not worth watching for children. Because children are a generation of people who are duly protected, and the content is inappropriate for children. Even if it continues to be broadcast on National TV, the explosion of scenes that should not be watched should be cut or skipped in the film. And for parents should pay attention and choose the spectacle of cartoons that are suitable for children according to the age of each child.
